Liz Malecki is known for her role as Sonya Blade in the original, smash hit, Mortal Kombat. Prior to Mortal Kombat, she was a professional modern dancer and actress who performed pieces choreographed by famous Chicago and New York artistic directors.

Liz used a move she performed in an award winning dance, to create Sonya’s infamous special “leg grab” move - one that is extremely hard to defend against. 

Today, while Sonya fights bad guys, Liz is known for fighting for animal rights.
