Hector David Jr. was born on July 10, 1989 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. Hector is Puerto Rican and American actor, creative director, dancer and producer.
He is known for Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010-2013), Power Rangers Samurai & Power Rangers Super Samurai where he brought to life Mike The Green Samurai Power Ranger. Also making a guest star appearance in Super Megaforce: The Legendary Battle (2015) alongside Jason David Frank.
Hector David Jr continued his career onto a series regular role on “East los high” A Hulu original series where took on the role of Christian Camacho a dance choreographer. Which was familiar to him having a background in dance, martial arts and theater. While in Senior high school Hector Participated on the series “So you think you can dance” while being eliminated actress Debbie Allen graciously offered him a year scholarship at her performing arts Institute upon finishing high school. This helped launch his career tremendously.
“Keeping up with the joneses” starring Vivica a Fox, Hector plays the role of Carlos and Peter on “The Wrong Life coach” which airs on Lifetime movie network. Also a few more of his credits consist of Jane the virgin, Rap Sh!T on HBO, The Bay Series, The Sand Father of the bride, Murder, Anyone?, and As Good As Dead starring Michael Jai White. After Moving to South Florida to Join forces with the production company “Positive Pictures” Hector David has co-directed, co-produced 3 films such as Youthquake, The Last Date, and Once upon a Christmas Eve starring another pair Rangers alumni Najee De-Tiege. Which Hector executive produced.
Hector has also played the male lead in music videos with Keyshia Cole, Little Mix, Toni Braxton, Alyson Stoner, Reik, and Pedro Capo. 1521 : The quest for love & freedom directed by Micahel Copon where Hector plays The male lead named Enrique, Magellans Right Hand Man played by Danny Trejo. Released in theaters October 2nd and now a international 4x award winning film for Best feature Film & Best Cinematography. (Sweden, London, and Athens) 1521 to be released in theaters internationally in June 2024.
